Community Support Matters – Logo design for Clare Valley Community Kitchen

When we were asked to help with the Clare Valley Community Kitchen logo, it was a very simple “of course” from us.
We are endlessly inspired by people in the region who step up to do good with no other reason than helping others.

Running on raw volunteer power (all hail volunteers!), Clare Valley Community Kitchen has just kicked off with its first operation.

Bringing people together, for a gold coin or produce donation you can stay for a meal. You can also volunteer to help out or give a donation to this not for profit initiative.

We wanted to create a really simple logo for it that would make people think of the fun times they had around the table, sharing a meal and having a laugh. The visual needed to be warm and inviting for all members of the community.

Clare Valley Community Kitchen is running from the Barbara J Long function room in the Clare Town Hall 12pm-2pm once per fortnight starting Sept 12, and will also run on Christmas Day.

It’s been 20 years from the very first Honeycomb.Design project.

We are building a brand new website, because everyone knows – you have to shift the furniture around every now and then.

Especially for big occasions.

Some of the content on this website is a little old, but stay tuned for a brand new online space.

Cheers,

Giedre
